For more than a century, Lake Forest Flowers has been honored to celebrate life’s milestones and community traditions. Since 1917, our family-owned florist has proudly served generations of families throughout Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and the North Shore, and one of our favorite traditions each year is participating in the Lake Bluff Fourth of July Parade.
If you’ve attended the Lake Bluff parade, you’ve likely spotted our beloved 1929 antique flower delivery truck. Beautifully decorated in festive red, white, and blue blooms, the truck is a rolling reminder of our history and the enduring spirit of a family business that has been delivering flowers—and smiles—for generations. Watching families wave as our vintage truck passes by has become a cherished part of our Independence Day celebration.
The Fourth of July is also a wonderful time to gather with family and friends. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue, lakeside gathering, or festive dinner, fresh flowers are the perfect finishing touch. From patriotic red, white, and blue bouquets to naturally beautiful arrangements featuring fresh blooms sourced from local flower farms, our designers can create something that perfectly complements your holiday table or gift your hostess.
Looking beyond the holiday weekend, we invite you to experience the joy of flowers firsthand at our Summer Bouquet Workshop on Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. Our hands-on workshops are designed for all skill levels and feature the freshest seasonal flowers while giving participants the opportunity to learn floral design techniques from our experienced team.

To help you prepare for your celebrations, our holiday hours are:

From all of us at Lake Forest Flowers, thank you for allowing us to be part of your celebrations for more than 100 years. We wish you a safe, joyful, and flower-filled Fourth of July and look forward to seeing you at the Lake Bluff Parade!
